The girls opened their ornament gifts this morning. Ila has to touch every Nutcracker she sees, so I found a Nutcracker ornament for her and for Lorel, I got an ice-cream cone with sprinkles and a cherry on top. When Ila started to open her gift, I got a little worried that she was going to be disappointed because she kept saying, "Mom! I think it's a toy!" But when she saw her "nuttrackter," she fell in love. She carried him around all day and kept asking me if he could stay in her room instead of on the tree. Lorel seemed to like her ice-cream cone pretty well too. Instead of pretending to eat it, she was actually licking it all day - sprinkles and all. We should have some really pretty sparkly diapers soon....
And, take a look at our tree. I can't hardly fit any more presents under or around it.
We are truly, TRULY, blessed.
Can't wait to tear all those open!
